When Elior Group approached SalterBaxter to reinvent their sustainability strategy they jumped at the chance. Elior Group bears the responsibility to contribute positively to global issues, such as rising global health problems (caused in part by poor diet), environmental issues caused by agriculture, the increase in food waste. and the need for decent jobs.

 

To achieve this, Elior Group aims to generate a positive Foodprint, from farm to fork. Elior works with suppliers, clients, guests and employees to achieve this.

 

It’s four main commitments holistically cover the whole of the value chain–from how Elior Group sustainably sources ingredients, to the healthy choices they provide to their guests, to how they minimize food waste.

 

HEALTHY CHOICES: Elior Group aims to meet the challenge of rising global health problems, and are committed to helping their guests achieve good health by providing healthy choices and raising general awareness.

 

SUSTAINABLE INGREDIENTS: They’re also tackling head-on issues caused by agriculture. They are committed to increasing the sustainability of their ingredients and sharing best practices with their suppliers.

 

A CIRCULAR MODEL: Elior is also committed to doing their part to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. They are committed to innovating and collaborating to reduce food waste and other waste, working towards a more circular model.
